I buy it by the 55 gal drum. I've got 3 right now. If you decide you want some I'll look into shipping it.
The same refinery that furnishes the base oil for the stihl orange bottle oil also does pure guard and royal purple. Pure guard and the stihl orange bottle oil is also blended at the same plant. Both the refinery and blending/packaging plant are in Shreveport, LA. Both are within 10 miles of my home. I used the orange bottle stihl oil in a MS390 for 8 years with no issues. Glad I never looked at the piston.

the oreilly oil carries a FC rating and has stabilizer in it and says it is synthetic blend.

Pure guard I have isn't synthetic it's just like the orange bottle stihl oil. The Loggers I know that use it have been mixing 6.4 oz bottles with 2 gallons of fuel to get 40:1. They say their saws last longer on 40:1 compared to 50:1.

Ok question here ,a hopped up bad ass chainsaw that scares women and children when it is started may have 230 psi for example ,i bet it still does not have more than 8 to 1 compresion which 87 octane would be fine for ,the 110 race cas burns too cool making wasted fuel not being made into energy out the exhaust kind of like some bike oils are doing in the saws. The saws just do not have enough power nor generate enough heat to benefit from these fancy fuels and oils ????

Going from 93 to 110 mine dropped only 200-300 rpms best I remember.
87 to VP 94 was 700 rpms. I think I posted all of that in this thread early on. The stock 064 I had at the time wouldn't turn 12k with the 110 without leaning it out to .5 turn on the H.

Brian some dont understand the top and bottom capacities that r measured to derive the ratio r different in a saw compared to a vehicle with high psi. U cant use a baseline chart for a octane/psi chart for a car to compare to a saw not knowing your ratio and assuming it? I think it would be easy for someone to pull a octane/psi chart for a vehicle off the internet with 14to1 compression ratio to a saw @8to1 the chart wouldnt apply to a saw? And the chart surely doesnt work if u havent measured your ratio and guess? These work saws have too short of a stroke to have time to detonate and have any benefit from high octane
