Nope never at 32:1,Any 2T oil will work at the correct ratio. I'll ask the same question I asked on AS. Has anyone ever experienced an engine malfunction using ANY brand of 2-cycle oil mixed at 32:1? The answer on AS was no.
R & D.....I'll leave it at that.Explain to us all how I blew that cylinder ???
I'll pay shipping both ways. I call BS on 13k in the cut. I've run ported 3120s that won't do it. Figure out who you want to test them.Yours don't have the correct sticker on it.....TN
Worn out cutters, untouched rakers...maybe. But .025 rakers on your chain and it won't turn 12kI'll pay shipping both ways. I call BS on 13k in the cut. I've run ported 3120s that won't do it. Figure out who you want to test them.
Lol!!! I widened the intake too much and hung a ring when I 1st started porting. At least u got one 1 thing correct so far. U should quit while u r ahead ole buddy. U r embarrasing yourself?R & D.....I'll leave it at that.
Use any oil you want. They all will work at the correct ratio. A "best" oil doesn't exist for all saws and all applications. I used stihl oil for many years with no issues. Same with all the Loggers I know IF enough all is used. I've been experimenting with racing oils and they're not needed for firewood cutting. So, without reading hundreds of pages of info, I have gathered that it seems most of you guys do not like the Stihl Ultra oil. It would be neat if someone added a poll to this with the different oils and let's see which oil gets the most love. It may sway a few other people to decide it is worth trying that particular oil. I have been happy with what I am using, but I have a few Vintage saws that I will likely not be able to get a P&C for, so in my paranoia, I am looking to try something different...
Saws aren't my real interest or hobby. I enjoy using ported saws but I'm to the point I'm not going to stress searching for the perfect oil, chain, bar, and saw. Just go cut and enjoy it. My interest is shooting, especially my long-range match deer rifles. I've got a few match barreled pistols too.I'm ready.
We need to look at that 021 since I've been using 800. Hell it might look worse!I gave my buddy Ron660 a Stihl 021 that has been ran 20 yrs on orange bottle Stihl and has never had a piston or ring change
Runs good.Same saw still set fat goofing around.
That's why I enjoy your posts. On AS, seemed I was the only guy bragging on ported 660's. Mostly Husky fans over there. You do realize I port saws for a living, mainly 660's.
I own several huskys but I don't brag on them much. I do have a sporty 394 and 395. They sleep outside in the rain. That's why I enjoy your posts. On AS, seemed I was the only guy bragging on ported 660's. Mostly Husky fans over there.
