Any 2T oil will work at the correct ratio. I'll ask the same question I asked on AS. Has anyone ever experienced an engine malfunction using ANY brand of 2-cycle oil mixed at 32:1? The answer on AS was no.
Nope never at 32:1,

Some at 50:1, mostly if it was a low quality oil and fuel.... poor quality fuel at 32:1 will still cause failure

Had 1 088 fail at 50:1 with fresh fuel and oil. it was used for big stump cuts. I still believe that milling and 50:1 is pushing it even with klotz. Milling is hard on a saw.

Sent from my non internal combustion device.

So, without reading hundreds of pages of info, I have gathered that it seems most of you guys do not like the Stihl Ultra oil. It would be neat if someone added a poll to this with the different oils and let's see which oil gets the most love. It may sway a few other people to decide it is worth trying that particular oil. I have been happy with what I am using, but I have a few Vintage saws that I will likely not be able to get a P&C for, so in my paranoia, I am looking to try something different...
Use any oil you want. They all will work at the correct ratio. A "best" oil doesn't exist for all saws and all applications. I used stihl oil for many years with no issues. Same with all the Loggers I know IF enough all is used. I've been experimenting with racing oils and they're not needed for firewood cutting.

I'm ready.
Saws aren't my real interest or hobby. I enjoy using ported saws but I'm to the point I'm not going to stress searching for the perfect oil, chain, bar, and saw. Just go cut and enjoy it. My interest is shooting, especially my long-range match deer rifles. I've got a few match barreled pistols too.

Runs good.
I've ported a couple truck loads of 066/660's every way I can imagine and have yet to see one 4stroke over 15000.
My 064 now is the strongest I've ran and in oak with a 32" 404 noodling it will go close to 12000 in the wood. Might 4stroke no load to 14500 but probably more like 14300.
