Have you fellas tried bi-metal bands? I see there’s a few options for them around, online. I would think they would hold an edge much longer than a standard band.

So far my favorite blade is a woodmizer silver tip with hardened teeth

Welcome to the forum….and thanks for resurrecting this thread.
I don’t like this thread……I had talked myself out of a sawmill right before C19 and then prices went up. I’m still a little salty about it, lol. I’ll get one, eventually.

Welcome @geslayton.

Welcome @geslayton.
I actually bought my first one because of C19. My wife wanted to finish our basement with pine siding instead of Sheetrock and for the price of lumber at the time, I bought a small manual mill (woodland mills hm126). Things escalated quickly and I found a lightly used partially hydraulic LT35 and haven’t looked back!

I don't see myself ever needed more than the 122. I recently bought another extension. They advertise it as a half extension. I believe with it we can cut up to 19' now.

My 126 had the 14hp and trailer. It was a great saw, I just got tired of manually rolling my logs. I will say, the extra horsepower om the Woodmizer is also nice in those wider cuts.
