I have some whiteoak, hockory and pecan logs to cut.
Should i order the hardwood blades or just run the silver tip blades i have from
Woodmizer?

Could you explain what you mean by hardwood blades? We use standard blades sharpened to the degree that we need for different wood (7 for hardwood, 9 or 10 for pine).
Btw I would recommend Norwood blades as being significantly cheaper than Woodmizer. I haven’t ordered any for a few years but the last I ordered they were great quality.
And definitely order 1 1/4 instead of 1 1/2. Most people use the narrower blade, and they cut noticeably faster.

Honestly of all the blades I’ve tried the silver tip woodmizer held up way better in dirty wood and were worth the money. Tried about 7 different ones so far

I’ve given up trying to cut dirty wood. Curious if you tried Norwood? I’m not claiming they’re the best, and if Woodmizers hold their edge a lot longer, that is a factor.
