On the table, did you use biscuit joints, tongue-in-groove, dowels, or some other methodology to join the various planks into a table top? I was exposed to wood working very early on by my Maternal Grandfather and have had the bug ever since. After I can afford to build a decent shop, on hopefully larger ground, i intend to be equipped for decent wood working and steel fabrication as both fascinate me. To be able to build something from nothing in order to serve a uniquely particular task for myself or others is pretty darn neat.

It's actually a really nice gun.
Good to know. There are a few other tools that will take priority. I really want a nice band saw and I have a shop-vac for dust collection. Can you give me any tips on band saws?

Beautiful pics Tor.

Us too. My wife grew up w/ chickens so I agreed to get 'em. Have 7 right now. Fresh eggs (and bacon) are hard to beat.

We have three French Black Copper Marans, and one little Ameraucana. The Ameraucana laid her first egg on Tuesday and another today. They're the small light green ones on the right. Probably take three or four of them for a good breakfast.

Look used for a bandsaw. What do you want to do with it? Ripping? Form cuts? Scroll? My uncle has a big grizzly and I and dad have 12" craftsmans. Mine is all I need, but I use my uncles more than I should.

I have been for a while. A nice Griz came up near West Chester. I was ready to hop in the truck... replied, sorry sold! I want the ability to saw limbs into boards, so I need a decent one. Still searching almost daily.

Yep, I'm a little less than 2 hours away. His bandsaw sold the same day he posted the ad. Wish people would delete their ads when the item is sold!
