Very cool. I bought a Ruger SR22 to teach our kids to shoot safely. My daughter shoots it occasionally and she's now 13. My 15yr old boy has his own collection which includes 2 Marlins(22mag and 30-30) and a Mossberg500. This was the day we bought the 30-30. He sold his dirtbike (outgrew it) and used the money for the 3 guns.

Sweet. That's the way to do it. Teach them young.
Mine are to young for big ones yet, they are at the cricket gun size which they are learning in. (5&7)

Scotch, Port, and Cigars. Cleaning up and landscaping my little slice of Missouri. Backyard chickens. Hoping to add Honeybees and a few goats in the spring. Thinking about building a Bat house as well to help with skeeter control.

I bought my boy a Rossi with .22 and .410 when he was 5. He has since added a Tika .270, Rem 870 and this year Savage .17 hmr. He turned 15 this year. The last 3 Christmas he has asked for rifles. Its nice to buy something that they can keep.

Us too. My wife grew up w/ chickens so I agreed to get 'em. Have 7 right now. Fresh eggs (and bacon) are hard to beat.

Sir im sorry to be the one to tell you but bacon does NOT come from chickens. Not sure what Wifey has been feeding you but BACON is not to be takin lightly.

I love 1911's, but my primary carry gun is a G23.

I also put a storm lake barrel in mine for shooting lead.

I do enjoy long range pistol shooting. 100-200 yards is very good practice to test your fundamentals.

135 yard jack rabbit kill with a G19

1 mile shooting with the 308, which is pushing my rifle and ammo to the absolute max

3500 yards on the 338

The Gen IV 23 is also my EDC. I will be picking up a G43 or Shield shortly though as there are tactical advantages to a light 9mm which is easy to carry in cargo shorts, in the summer heat... I will soon be inheriting a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan .44 snubbie and Glock 20 off of a friend who is in bad health. I will love having the guns, but I'd much rather keep my friend any day... :-(

I've spent a lot of time on these things.

And then built this, hauled in by boat.

I would like a minty R90, R100 or newer R1150/R1200R or the light touring equivalent. There's something about a Boxer twin, although I hear the newer liquid cooled boxers have a bit of a different character about them.
