We have some really good stocking programs here so you have a good chance of hooking into one every time you go out. I like fishing top water baits -Manta Hang 10 is my favorite,Crankbairs- Depthraiders, swim wiz, Jig- Bondy Bait. My favorite lately is sucker fishing though. I caught this one last year in October on a 12" sucker quick set rig. It was 42" approx 20#. Not the biggest.

I use 80# braided on Abu Toro Revos. All of my rods are 8'6"

Besides working on saws and cutting wood, it's gotta be shooting.

Primarily long range and extended long range. Unfortunately living in Michigan I don't get the chance to practice like I'd like to. I do try to get to Texas twice a year.

Handgun and carbine shooting and training are the next passions after long range.

Is that GMC still running it's original V-6? If so what displacement is it? They're neat engines and I don't see them running very often which is sad...

Here's one of my short-range toys. It's two other brothers are a 6" Taurus .357 and a 4" S&W 629 .44 Mag. I can hit a 12" gong here and there @ 100yds + with them. I like 1911's a lot better than Glck, but I couldn't pass up the deal w/Blue label pricing. The Storm Lake barrel is so I can safely shoot a lot of .40 cast bullets w/o having a leading problem...

I collect, restore, refurbish lawn boy engines made pre 1996. i prefer the OMC built lawnboy.
light weight magnesium decks and powerful reed ported 2 strokes. most around 3.5 hp 108cc 3200 rpms and will spank any pusher made today.

Skip, what kinda knives? My boy and I are knife nuts too. Here's a couple, the lanyard has since been taken off the Kershaw. My daughter was paracord nuts there for a while.

Wife bought me this for our last anniversary.

Perfect... I have some random parts here for them. New little bits from a buyout. Nothing too exciting, but I hated to throw it out. If you were closer, my local has a shed full of oldies.

I love 1911's, but my primary carry gun is a G23.

I also put a storm lake barrel in mine for shooting lead.

I do enjoy long range pistol shooting. 100-200 yards is very good practice to test your fundamentals.

That's awesome! I think that's something our whole family would like to do.

It is a family event. My wife has really gotten into LR shooting over the past year. She enjoys shooting and taking handgun classes.

And this was a girl who when we first met wanted nothing to do with firearms.
Our kids are to young to shoot, but they enjoy play

Very cool. I bought a Ruger SR22 to teach our kids to shoot safely. My daughter shoots it occasionally and she's now 13. My 15yr old boy has his own collection which includes 2 Marlins(22mag and 30-30) and a Mossberg500. This was the day we bought the 30-30. He sold his dirtbike (outgrew it) and used the money for the 3 guns.
