It was too good of a deal to pass. I normally do all my cutting with my ms361 and a Husqvarna 281 for the big stuff. So far this year it's been all ms460. Here is a picture from the day I bought it.View attachment 15383
That did it. Tomorrow I need to buck up a big oak log. Time to give my 046 Mag some exercise. It's been waiting patiently, kind of like a mountain lion ready to pounce.

I took my newly built hybrid out and helped a buddy cut up some ash. Only got to run one tank of fuel through it. (First tank full since being built) I'm impressed at how well it worked. Now I know why guys like the hybrids. I can't stop smilingimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Tomorrow I've got some 36" dia. ash to buck up. Time to give my Stihl 046 a short breather and haul out my Makita 6401 with the BBK. It needs some exercise. I'll start with a 25" bar and move up to the 32" as need be.

This ash tree was dropped because it threatened both a power line and a house. 80 years old, and I'll post pics if I can remember to bring the camera. The trunk is actually closer to 46" across at 6" above ground level. I think I have just enough bar.

My 21" Snapper. It did cut a few sticks while I mowed the yard.
