What can I use to protect a beech board intended as a pork/suckling pig chopping board.
Is linseed oil ok for moderate food application?

I have always used mineral oil on my boards. I also have heard of a combination of that and bees wax.

I have a 24”, 48” and 72” Alaskan mills. Used the 48” with a 41” bar on it, need a 52” bar to max the mill out. Had to trim on little knob off the burl to get buy it with the 41” bar. Otherwise has to go home to get the 72”.

Made my kids a treehouse this summer. Cedar decking came from Home Depot but everything else came off my mill. Encompasses 4 trees. 40ft long by 22ft wide. 2 levels with a curved staircase.
Laminated veneers off the BSM for the staircase. Sanded and coated in epoxy for longevity.
Still in progress and needs railing.
