Still trying to figure out what to do with this nice set of 8/4+ walnut crotch slabs. I would not be opposed to selling them to any of you or trading for an 80-120 cc saw. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.10497249_10202183092847817_3309102742157624147_o.jpg walnut.jpg
FWIW, I also have a couple thousand board feet of cherry, walnut, qs white oak, chestnut oak and poplar that I would be willing to deal to any of you near Central PA. I would like to move it because I have another 1500 bd-bf of white oak, chestnut oak and poplar logs that I need to get milled soon.

My latest project and my first attempt at timber framing. The girlfriend wanted a pergola. I did all the mortise and tenon work the old fashioned way. Also did the entire process on every timber. (Felling, hauling, milling to the final product.) It's all 6x6 Walnut except for the two 6x6 Ash cross beams. It was a very enjoyable project!

Very Nice!!! But, I would put pieces of stone under the posts to keep them from rotting (Bluestone?).

I'm saving pieces of Black Locust to use for legs on the tables I'm planning on making.

I still have to level it. Definitely planned on putting something under the posts. I have some Cedar laying around. Was gonna use that but the Bluestone sounds like a cool idea! Thanks Mike!!
