Morning,
At the moment I used Stihl advance x flex type c trousers and find them comfortable, I have started a new job and work want to buy me a pair of trousers so I have been looking for the same ones as I know them. Everywhere I look they are all out of stock in nearly all sizes so I'm guessing they have stopped them or recalled them. Everyone else uses arbortec but I wanted something a bit different.

Does any one have any knowledge on the stein krieger guardian type c? Or any other suggestions?

There are still some out there, although stock and sizes look limited, and they are still listed on the Stihl website. May just be a supply chain issue? Might be worth a quick email or phone call to Stihl UK to see if they are discontinued. I have Stein Krieger work trousers without chainsaw protection and they are very good quality and comfortable. Can't speak for the chainsaw ones though.

Depends on the weather and budget right? I have a pair of Notch armorflex II (class C) that I got for about $180 with a treestuff discount. I love them, and feel they are best bang for buck. They have been durable, and i can wear them year round. I also went 32x32, and they fit well with enough length for climbing. I am typically a 32 or 34x34 for loose fit in normal pants. My wife and other climbers use the clogger zero gen2. Those are the coolest temp wise pants out there. Idk if the version we have are class C, but I know they make different versions. Some of which are on sale currently about $250 rather than $430. I would have gotten those for myself if they weren't so expensive. I believe they are the best out there for hot weather, and you can just wear long John's under if it's 20degrees out.
