So Scott, would I be correct in thinking that whatever was gained by charging the strato port was lost out the exhaust? Seems like all that would be accomplished is using/wasting more fuel.

You're better off milling with the 395 anyway. Use some extra oil, tune it rich, and that plastic retainer may last forever
