I think I see it like this.
The only way it can help is if the transfers can't or don't flow enough air. If that's the case, the added volume from the stratos would help. If your transfers are perfect, it won't help.

Kind of like your theory on adding finger ports

Hmm.... I'll guess the cut time a hair longer for the heck of it, am curious to see what really happens. Would be interesting to see what changes the auto tune made to accommodate this modification.

Supposedly not on the new ones. The old restart just set the mtron back to factory settings. The new one actually calibrates it for the given conditions
