A tall version would be nice. Can't have too many designs for as many mufflers that are out there.
Also is it possible for the flashing to be flattened out in the press? I spend a bit of time hammering these ones out.

The flares can be pounded out easy enough though on your new ones if it's not desirable, like under a top cover for instance, just for folks knowledge.

I'll set the dies a bit tighter. As long as they don't stick all the time. That will help flatten them out.

Yes, the volume of a large in a narrower space without the flair on top.

I always cut as much as possible off if there’s no screens being used.

This one got screens so I welded the nuts on the inside and put bolts through the cover and deflector to hold it.

One thing about the new large, in 5 minutes with a pair of stout needle nose pliers, you can alter the height and width to about any size you want on the front. Then just crimp the corners to square them back up

New large on a 390. Might be a case melter.
