I have an old McCulloch mini Mac. I believe it's a Mac 110. But there are no markings on it to know. Anyways. It won't idle hardly and when it warms up it won't run at all. Maybe needs a carb kit? Piston and jig look OK. I have adjusted the carb and got it to run great before but it always dies when it gets warm

I certainly wouldn't sell any of mine for less than $400.

You may get lucky, I've found them for under $100 and had them running great in a few hours.

If it helps, I just sold a great running PM800 a few weeks ago for $250. I let it go with a 28" bar and 2 loops that were almost new. I was asking $300. I didn't get much interest until a collector found me.

Check out Saw King's video on You Tube, mini mac out of the case in under 15 minutes. Except for the Mini Mac 6 with the fixed starter, they are not really that hard to work on.

Joey is a hoarder

I may be a hoarder, but I use them all the time. These McCulloch chainsaws built the woodshed and put all the wood in it!

If you give up on that mini-mac Ethan, I have one in pretty good shape that you can have. It might need a carb kit though.

my grandpa had cross threaded the sparkplug that was a major part of why it wouldn't run. Got it apart today. Not sure if this one needs a carb kit or not. It is also leaking fuel somewhere but the line looks fine... I'll replace it anyways. If you don't want that saw I wouldn't mind adding it to the collection lol i like these arborist saws for little stuff

Speak for yourself .I find the mini to be one of the most user unfriendly saw ever made to work on along with a Homelite super 2 and a Stihl 020AV .You have a lot more patience than I .

Virtually every auto parts store will sell a very simple kit from Heli-Coil called Sav-A-Thread. The insert is solid, not the more conventional spring type Heli-Coil and has a special serrated rim at the top so once you have it inserted you use an include swaging tool to expand the top and lock in in place.

Kits cost less than $40 and you can buy additional inserts as needed.

You can also buy NOS cylinders/crankcase/pistons from cheapchainsawparts for $28 plus shipping.
