I had a bit of a conundrum with a 10-10S clutch issue over the last coupler days.My son took the saw out last week to cut an oak that had fallen into the farmer's field,& when he put the chain to the log it stopped. That told me there was a clutch issue.I pulled the clutch & put on one that I got in a parts lot,put the saw back together, fired it up & the chain ran non-stop.I had to pull it apart again today to find out that I must've overtightened the clutch, the spider was broken.I pulled a clutch off a non-running PM610 & put that on the saw.I noticed that as I turned the drum that the clutch was also turning.I put the drum & clutch on from the PM 610 & all was good.I noticed a wobble in the original drum & figured that something had warped it.The drum wasn't blued from overheating,so I have no idea as to what happened to it.
