I bought Oregon 20” RSN bars power cut? I think? For my Mac’s and they’ve held up well I think they were $80 each.
You can be a touch aggressive on the rakers but as Mark said they’re only 54-57cc.
Plus 10-10’s don’t have antivibe so try for a smooth chain versus a fast one

54cc of animal power can handle agressive rakes ro problem.

I believe so. One for sure is one might be a non replaceable roller nose. Being able to pump the oil to it in dry hardwoods helps bar life significantly.
I haven’t really had anytime for my Mac’s this year but I’ll check when I’m in the shop next.

Found this 18" bar for my 10-10A. Seems to be a decent price for eBay.

Thoughts? Good fit or is there something better out there?

That bar is not a D176 mount. It will not work on your 10-10A. You need to have a D176 type mount, then the sprocket tip pitch of the bar has to match your PTO clutch drive pitch. .325 bar tip=.325 clutch drum sprocket pitch. .375 bar tip= .375 clutch sprocket etc. Honestly you should pull the clutch and check the sprocket anyway. Then you will know what pitch it is for sure. Clutch sprockets are a maintenance item. They wear out over time.

Thank you for the information.

The Oregon bar is looking more tempting with these OEM prices across the internet. Thinking I might just go with it.
It will at least get you up and running while you watch for an OEM bar at a good deal. Heck, you can always repaint a bar to match the saw if you want.

You are a lifesaver. Perhaps I need to think outside the box a little more often.
