I had a chance to get a nice 6-10 on ebay that had the solid mount full wrap handle! I should have bid higher on it sense it only sold for $230. I will ever regreat not biding higher on it!

Yeah, that original full wrap was worth that but I'd never pay that much for it! I'm too cheap!

Got the SP81 apart today. Will get cleaned up and new crank seals put in. Everything looks really good inside. Piston has some carbon deposits, but should clean up just fine.
Any advice for getting the seals out of the capsules? Id like to reuse the bearings if possible. They seem to be in good shape, and would be better quality than new aftermarket IMO.

You need 61618 for the flywheel side, not 67906. 110260 is correct for the PTO side.

I press the bearing and seal out of the insert, and press new ones in with a mandrel through the bearing to insure it does not tweak the cup.

New PTO side bearings are easy to source, BH-108. If you have trouble locating any of the parts let me know, I have everything on hand. New flywheel side bearings are expensive.

Thank you sir!
I should be able to get a machinist friend to make the fixtures.

Two things .Those crazy mufflers on the 805 etc are not the best .The ones from an early 850 are much better IMO .The chrome falling apart on some of the big reed valves like the 125 probably had something to with that deal where they could not get hard Rodesian chrome .As a result you started to see the chrome falling off automobles .Some time around late 1970's if memory serves .
I've told the story of me turning a cast iron sleeve to fix that problem .Not difficult just time consuming .BTW the tool steel rings on the 125C and the MC 101 kart engine are exactly the same .Tool steel and cast irom if you don't get stingy with the oil should last almost forever IMO .

Probably the best 62cc Mac in existence. But it's not like there were a lot of 62cc models! Pm60 and an sp60. Sp60 is close on antivibe chassis as the 800 series.

The pm 60 is just a snappy lightweight rigid mount 10 series. LHS and short brakeless clutch cover make it weigh as much as a RHS 10-10. Chrome bore with porting similar in design to a 7-10. Ducted style muffler helps it perform too. They are lightsabers with a 20" bar in any hardwood.

It was my most used Mac.

I think the key on those 10 series is exactly like that ,Straight out the side with no baffles wakes them right up .Oh they will wake the dead but that's why they sell ear protection .They will wind up to higher RPM's than you might realize . I've got a screamer which is a 6-10 ,70 cc left hand start not to be confused with a PM 610 .In addition to that style muffler there has been other little tweaks over the years .
