View attachment 11682 Thanks. I am buying all of the old McCulloch inventory from a local saw shop on Friday if all goes as planned. He has several NOS parts of that vintage there. With any luck there will be a set in one of those boxes. I know there was a few of the canister mufflers and at least one bottom handle brace to fit that saw in the parts I have seen. I already picked up a muffler from the batch!

I'd be interested in a couple of these muffler kits if your going to sell any.

I'll keep you in mind when I get everything settled. He is supposed to have it all pulled by Friday. We will see...

You ain't bugging me. I am just glad to see there is interest in the parts. I know it is a gamble buying these parts. Many items may still be on the shelf because nobody wants them. I recognized several parts that fit saws I own. I also saw some stuff I will have to research. I was not even born yet when many of these parts were made. It will be an uphill journey figuring out what most of the parts are, but with a little help from some of the members here, I am sure I will get everything sorted out.

I wish I could say that.

There will be a market for all those parts. Don't forget to ask if he has any parts or repair manuals, bulletins etc. You may get them for free.

He said he wants it all gone. There will even be some string trimmer and generator stuff from what he was telling me.

Mark - if there are things you don't want/need let me know, I am trying to increase my assortment of all kinds of McCulloch parts.

295 - the MAC40 in the back had a Tillotson HL, the 101 saw in the front has a BDC (22 I believe, the double pumper).

The MAC 40 went to live with AWOL, the 101 saw is currently waiting attention so see if I can get it running again. It was perfect the first week of April last year, then I took it to the IA spring GTG and it has not run again...

There should be some goodies in there. I do enjoy sorting through a parts lot like that, you never know what you will find in the next envelop.

If you find anything with 59xxx part numbers let me know, most of those went for the BP-1.

I picked up a truck load a few weeks ago with some good stuff included.

Still sorting through parts and writing numbers down when there are numbers. I know I don't have the diaphragm pictured.

Ok mcculloch guru's I'm not a big mcculloch guy but I have a few questions for you knowledgeable mcculloch die hards. I have a big brick eager beaver and a pro Mc 650.
Beaver don't have a comp release and the Promac 650 does. What is the difference in the 2 cylinders besides the comp release. Is there any port differences?
I got them both on barter and the beaver is a runner and complete the pro mac is missing recoil cover assembly and starter paws. Any info on these is greatly appreciated 20160225_115632.jpg 20160225_115640.jpg 20160225_115655.jpg 20160225_115710.jpg

I agree Mike, videos are needed. First challenge is to get one of them running again. I may need a young, strong volunteer to come and tug on the starter rope, my shoulders can hardly take it anymore.

I did spend an inordinate amount of time messing with this 1-10 the last couple of weeks. Runs like a champ, finally.
