I seen that sign in your poulan counter vibe pic in the poulan thread. I'd love to have that on the side of my barn.

Hey Mark, glad you are here. I enjoyed the BP-1 thread. Just got my SP 125 finished. It has a NOS loop of .404 Pintail chain on it. I haven't had it in any wood yet.

Mark71 - I have it crossed off the list so that means I found one. I think the PM555 was simply the PM55 with a long clutch cover. I do have a PM55 with a new piston and cylinder in it so that is the one I run when I want a nice little saw with a 16" bar.

Tom - Now I just need to find a good reason to come you way again and deliver that saw. We are trying to schedule an Eastern tour in the coming weeks/months so I can get the new guy introduced around to the various plants our your way. A lot will depend on his schedule as he has some surgery coming up to repair some long term damage incurred while serving in Afghanistan.

More McCulloch's some are older photos...

Howdy Mark!

I have a few old Macs also, even a couple of nice ones thanks to Mark and other generous collectors.

How are you and the family Alan?

Jeff is doing very will with his new kidney, and I got another grandson this week!

IMAG2435.jpg

My two sons will one day get to divide up all the yellow saws and my daughter and her family get all the non-McCulloch's.

I don't want to stray too far off topic on my first day here so how about some more yellow saws?

Y'all need a goal. McCulloch carb info is what we need here. There are a lot of different carb designs. The Flatback, Bullfrog, then that thing on the 35.......

Then the primer systems.

My head hurts just thinking about it all.....

Those 35 are a odd looking thing .o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O

For those of you that have restored some of the older McCulloch saws, where do you typically get your gaskets?

I made the oiltank gasket on my 850. I completely rebuilt mine. Don't recall any issues finding gaskets. I had excellent help though.
I suggest you go over to sawhawgz.com and read the McCulloch thread. It is full of excellent info.

I cut all my own. Too damn expensive to purchase them individually.
