Pretty slick! Looks like quite a nice drive out to it, very green!

It was a very nice drive. Took all two lane there and back. Nothing like cruising back roads in an old truck with the windows down!

I must like these little minis when I have a carb kit on hand lol. And inordered another to have on hand to replace this kit lol.
Ther may even be enough parts to make 2 complete saws minus the bar and chains

The 066. It was a basket case saw when i got it. It has a chinese carb. It seems a little off still. Want to get a oem carb but ther so expensive here.
The filter stuff wasnt in the box with it so i went with the k&n style. Looks neat and way cheaper then ebay parts. I have a filter sock cover coming for it should be in any day.

Nice! Fat fingers on the 086.:p
Back on topic.
I like Mini Macs well enough, but wish I had that many PM6s. The one I have has great compression. Apart for crank seals right now.

@northwest saws has a few good used 066 carbs, I believe. In McCulloch news, I learned my 1-42's clutch cover is trashed. So, if anyone on here has a usable pin-tensioner Mac clutch cover, and hopefully a non-rotted recoil shroud and recoil, lemme know. I'm trying to decide if I should ditch one of the 1-4* Macs, 1 and my misc parts, or both of my 1-4* Macs and their associated parts/bars and just keep my 5-10, 10-10, and PM6. I've got too many saws of all brands and 25lb 80cc saws seem like the current weak links.

I almost forgot, I need to find a suitable pull handle for my 1-43 as well. After mulling it over, I think I'll put my good pin tensioner clutch cover on my 1-42 and put my non-tensioner equipped cover on my 1-43 along with an old 24 inch hardnose Mac bar and sell it when I've repainted and re-assembled it. I might even sell the 1-42, but I don't know yet. My 1-51 can remain a pile of parts, I don't think I'll try to build a saw out of it.

Well that was a bummer. I thought I had a new carb kit and it was the old one from befor, but it seems fine other than It looks off nothing seems to line up. These mini macs only use one style carb?
This one also had a differant looking diaphram with a plastic peace not attached instead of a metal peace.

Not the most knowledgeable, but I do know there are 2 carbs. Walbro MDC and Zama(iforget the series).
Got a brand new Zama kit here. Only one saw I have takes it.
Rest are Walbros.

That appears to be a Zama kit in a Walbro carburetor or vice versa. The Zama has the plastic, non-attached disc and the Walbro has the riveted disc. The parts are so close you don't know they won't interchange until you try to assemble them in the wrong carburetor. I have also been there and done that.

Merc man, I've got two oem carbs that'll work for the 066. A wj-10a and a new old stock Bing. Pm me if your interested.

In McCulloch related stuff, I have a complete PM700 project saw that I'm going to get rid of if anyone is interested. It was one that I had intended to fix up and put a full wrap on but life situations dictate I sell it. I have a new carb/gasket kit for it as well.
