Really nice unit. Likely the most powerful MAC ever made.

So, would anyone be interested in a BP1?
Theres a guy on here who knows where on is sitting in a shop. Not sure where exactly. I can put you in touch if interested. Just saw it in a post in the general area a few days ago.

I agree with mark, they seem angry for their size. I got the chance to run mark’s on one of the times I stop by his place passing through for work travels. They won’t run with something like the five cube saws but when you think about their displacement, it is quite surprising

I think it's carb failures on the Bp's .The only drawing I have of it is unclear on a micro fiche .Dan Henry had one I could have bought ,non runner. I passed .
The fiche has the theory of operation but with a blurry picture it's hard to follow .
Much ado about things like 4-15,000 rpms .Pshaw I've got 10 series that will wind that much .How long they might run at those RPM's however might be another story .I'd kind of like to keep them for a while so I don't push my luck on stuff like that .

So I know its off color, but it seems similar to the Homelite Super EZ. Not in a technological sense, but from a power-to weight view.
The one I got from my nephew was a nasty little beast! I couldnt believe the torque it had for 44 ccs. I let my dad use it because I could tell his EZ had an air leak, and I wanted to fix it before he fried it. Now I will have to inherit it to get it back. It is his FAVORITE, he even prefers it over the 1010S.

I tried to get photos inside the fuel tank of a Power Mac 6. The fuel filter is a large felt wick about 1/2" thick x 3" wide x 8" long. The fuel line presses through the wick/filter and a nipple sticks through the side of the fuel tank and simply presses against the fuel inlet on the carburetor. I can attest to the fact that getting a new filter into the tank through the relatively small opening is a challenge.

Here you can make out the fuel line where it presses into/through the side of the fuel tank.

There are actually two flanges on the fuel line, one on either side of the filter/wick and an opening in between to allow the fuel to flow through.

If you squint just right you can see both ends of the fuel line in the photo below.

That doesnt look like something I would enjoy doing Mark.
I had a leak on mine. Put a small O-ring in the receiver tube in the carb. Part of my problem was that the nut keeper clips were missing that hold the tank/recoil assembly on. I got that fixed thanks to Kevin @Gizzard .
Now the saw seems like its starving for fuel. The fuel line seems to be in good shape, so I'm going to fish the o-ring out and try again.

Here is the fuel line and fuel filter for the Power Mac 6.

The fuel line presses through the filter with a bit of effort.

Then all that is left to do is roll it up and work it through that small fuel filler opening.

And finally, pull the nipple through the smaller hole in the side of the tank.

That just looks painful Mark. Years ago, we had a customer who wanted us to do one, but we had to turn him away. We couldn't get a new fuel
line - He had a new felt wick in hand but his old fuel line had melted into goo. I'm glad now we didn't take that on. Is there a way to split the fuel tank on those?

Welcome! Those look top notch!
Thank you kindly. I'm in the process of getting a promac 10-10 finished up. This one is going to be fully powder coated. Hopefully add some durability so it doesn't have to be a shelf queen. Will post pictures when done
