Something did change in the later saws for sure. The long brake cover isn't all of it either.

PM700 Long brake cover 15.5 lb 7.03 Kg (late model black and yellow w/grey crankcase)
7-10A Short brake cover 13.9 lb 6.31 Kg

8200 long brake cover 19.2 lb 8.71 Kg
SP80 Short brake cover 16.1 lb 7.31 Kg

What about the engines on the newer 10-10s did they change at all
From earlier models

To clarify, the carb in my hand was in that box. I assumed it was the correct box for it but apparently that not true. Thanks for the input.

Some of them you can tinker with, change the throttle shafts etc, change the needles etc and some you can't .The carb I have on a 6-10 an early version of a 7-10/700 has a hybrid carb from the parts of several .Exactly what parts were changed I've long forgotten .

Titan 50 for one of the fellows at work. Fuel lines weren't bad but the oil lines were mostly disintegrated.

All cleaned up and ready to go back together once I fix the coil wire.

Mark, are those titan series saws pretty decent? Mag case and bar cover seem to be built like a modern pro saw.

P61 - just measure the shaft and the bore, any good bearing shop can set you up as the seals are standard sizes.

Steve - not bad saws, but the coils are rather suspect. The parts are all well made and fit and finish are great.

That's my dilemma there really isn't a good bearing shop near by.

Assuming these numbers are still good Mac 125 C clutch side seal Mc # 104432 CR # 6816----Flywheel side Mc #57897 Cr# 6762 and Mc# 57898 Cr # 6763 Note two seals Fw side inner and outer .If I recall these are single lip seals installed back to back reversed . I didn't look up the lip code up but using the CR numbers it could be obtained .

I just checked on a few kart forums and evidently CR is now SKF with the same stock numbers for those seals .Also note evidently one of the double seals are getting hard to find and on one of the forums the person used a single double lip seal in place of the two with good success . What that number is I have no idea .

If you can't find those seals as a suggestion you might try Randys engine repair who is in Ohio .He might be a little high on some things but has a lot of parts .You can Google it .I've found on some things once you figure freight from like Bearings Inc it's just as cheap to go this route .Some of these bearing houses like to hose you on special order stuff when it could just be as easily obtained with a normal restocking shipment .Sears and Roebuck tried that power play but as you know they are now in bankruptcy .

Looks like I can find all but the CR 6762. I wonder if two of the 6763 would work?

Okay here you go .The seals given in metric are 17 by 30 .The inner is .1875 " the outer .1251 " thick .So in theory with a double lip it would be around .3126 thick .The way I see it what single seal replaces the two originals would have to have opposing lips .Nothings gets in and nothing gets out .I've got the master interchange book and if I get the time I'll try to sort it out .That damned book must weight ten pounds nearly as large as the McCulloch dealers book of IPL's

Thank you for the help. I'm sure others will benefit from this as well.

I'm not sure of this but this is what I found SKF # 6620 17 by 30 by 7 single lip .SKF # 6622 17 by 30 by 7 double lip but this one is rubber over the metal instead of plain metal on the seal ring.It would probably seat .For that matter a single lip might work with the seal installed so it seals against crankcase pressure which I would think would be higher than atmospheric pressure including the partial vacuum it draws on intake . I doubt they cost over 8-10 bucks a piece so it's not like buying a Stihl seal if it doesn't work .You can over 2 or 3 times that amount in one OEM
