Looks brand new.

It is... I have a 22-ton CountlyLine/Huskee at the house, this one is at the shop now. Pic was taken when I got it back to the house and chained it to the porch until I could drag it to the shop 7 miles away.
I've been using it a bit, and it definitely has more poop than the 22-ton does. Lots beefier built. I got a great price on it, and I think it will hold up. Does NOT like being pulled 40 miles down the highway, though... no suspension, of course. Was a scary trip bringing it home, damn thing was bouncing around a lot. Think I'll just trailer it if I'm going more than a couple miles with it.

Got one just like it,Post#80. Mines the older model, but I havn't found a chunk of wood it won't split and I have split some nasty looking stuff. it will even tear large sweetgum chunks in half. Notice I said tear, they don't split.lol

When I got this pile it was just a beam and a cylinder on wheels. I put a 10hp B&S motor with a 16gpm pump on it, and added the log lift and table later on. It's seen steady action for the last 10 years, about 15-20 cord a year. I have an adjustable wedge in the works, and a bigger motor/pump shortly.

Really nice job on the add on features. Would be nice to have log tables, lifter on mine. Will have to talk to my welder buddy...
Got to play with the new one a bit more, today. What a beast. My older 22-ton seems like a toy, now.

I am 39, I have been working with my dad my whole life cutting wood. After 39 years he finally bought a splitter.
