Those kinetic splitters are nice. Super fast going through Elm. Nasty, stringy wood when it's anything but bone dry. My little splitter struggles a little with it.Minor league video of my SS clone. I have the RPM down to save on noise. Pretty sure this is elm? Kind of stringy and had a tough knot. Higher rpm would have blown the knot apart in one hit. I just can't take the racket ; ) This thing uses about 4 oz. fuel per hour, if that...
That's a good looking setup there!View attachment 25376
My home made splitter. Trailer was originally a highway department road sign trailer. Ram is a three point tractor type. Lengthened the tongue and put springs under it. Hydraulic tank is an old BBQ propane tank. I got the seat for my wife to sit on, instead of sitting on the fender, from Samtip. $99 7 hp harbor freight engine.
Have a SuperSplit HD and a NT Powerhorse 20-ton Dual Split with custom 4-way slip-on wedge. I know, I know...pics or ya ain't got 'em. Pic file sizes are a little larger than 2Mb, and a current site server glitch won't let anything over 2Mb be posted. No idea how to re-size a pic on my Iphone6+. When the site pic bug is worked out, I'll post up the pics.
Worked perfect through Tapatalk there Genius...went back and edited/added the splitter pics...appreciate the help. Seems the 'actual' pic file size is a heap smaller through Tapatalk then just posting it up straight to the site via phone. I suppose Tapatalk compresses the pic file size quite a bit.Normally I don't use tapatalk, but when I can't post pics directly on the site I am able to post them through there.

Lol...those pics were taken not long after I bought each of them. They're not quite as handsome now. But I will take the time to hit them with the compressor/air hose right outside the shop before they get moved back in.Holy crap, what kind of wax do you use, and do you use a power buffer!?
Nice looking!
sweet SS. Are those table jacks something that you added aftermarket or are they an OEM option to the super split?Lol...those pics were taken not long after I bought each of them. Aftermarket add...The two front, red stabilizer legs I purchased from Split Second Log Splitter. Their front stabilizer legs, plus their manual log lift attachment for their Split Second flywheel models, will fit all SuperSplit models as well.sweet SS. Same wood as the SuperSplit...Red oak, white oak, hickory, pecan, pine. Never stalled one time on anything I've thrown at it. The 4-way understandably goes a little slower but still plows through anything I've put on it. The splitter has a 7-sec cycle time each direction so with the 4-way splitting both directions, the splits can add up quick. What wood do you use the dual 20 in and how hard is it t stall w/and w/o the 4-way on?
