6 years with this one and it'll stay right here!

So Dano likes to run his saw in the garage and according to Don's remarks.... that's where he runs his splitter "it'll stay right here":aaaaa:

I'd sure like to give one of them SS's a go at some point.

Dano probably doesn't cut wood at all. ;)

SS has the option of a electric motor, that would be nice splitting indoors when it's cold out! I read about a few guys doin it that way.

just goofing Don. I thought it looked mighty clean for a 6 year old machine. It'd be the 1st candidate for LSP (log splitter polisher) we've seen.

My BIL has an electric in his shop. Back in dump the load off and split in a t shirt right next to the stove.

I have a small Brave 8 ton. Put a 6.5 Briggs when I got it used with the original 4.5 blown.split close to 3 cords this yard. Goes through most I put on it with the exception of a 18-20" crotch of oak. Takes very little room to store, I'm happy with it

Anyways, as posted elsewhere in another splitter thread,....

I like this splitter, 'n bein' to poor, 'n too cheap to spend the 2 Grand to buy one,....
I'm buildin' my own vision of it,... pictures to come later,....

Mine in the foreground. Ariens 22 ton. Nothing fancy but it works great for pine, juniper and aspen, which is pretty much everything fuel wood-wise around here.
