That's crazy! How do the Mark2s compare to Mark1s?
I don’t really know. Haven’t been out long enough. I’m guessing they will have fewer bearing failures with the dished piston and no stuffers. But the ones using 50:1 with cheap gas station oil will probably suffer the same fate eventually

I know the clearance in the crank case is tight... I was half tempted to create spiral grooves in the case to help direct oil to the bearings... but, I figure I'll continue to run 32:1... if it fails, then changes will be made to this Mark2

32:1 is pretty much a safe bet in any saw…assuming quality oil :p
