I’m a big fan of cordless tools but where does it end. I’m not a believer in battery operated stuff being much more eco friendly as what happens to all these batteries when they go bad?

I too have heard some time ago that Makita's focus is on electric saw's moving forward, eventually eliminating the gasoline ones. So why on earth would they spend big money on Dolmar? Chit can the name and the product itself? This makes no sense to me as a "smart"business transaction. Either I am missing some big piece of the puzzle, or I just plain don't get it.
