Yes..
Had a fool argue with me that his ms290 would out cut my 395xp... I tried to explain what kind of saw he had and what kind of saw the 395 was but he knew better than me...

Ye shalt not underestimate the glorious might of the 290 Farmboss, for those that do not yield will be smited!

And i bet for every 395 sold there were 1000s of 290s sold..i asked my dealer how many 661s he sold this year..2, and i was one of them.

Then you wanna produce a 90cc saw with little brand recognition...lol..i wouldn't.

They should just make a 125cc saw, only just to piss Stihl off.

Kind of like having a car that can go twice the speed limit.

They probably cut more firewood than every modern saw combined..throw an ms 250 in there too.

I was at the Stihlership one day and a guy was looking at a 271, I said get the 291 same weight just a little more power for $40 more. Him and the salesman looked at me like I just called their mothers a hoe.

My boss bought a 291 only because his neighbor has a 271. He runs a carbide chain to cut clean firewood so he doesn't have to sharpen it. I tried to tell him the he could cut more wood in less time with a round filled chain including the sharpening time but no go. I feel the need to bring my high comp ported 372 with a square filled chain over then next time he needs help with wood.

I have one those neighbors that knows everything and if he doesn’t it’s not worth knowing. He can’t see my place thru the woods and asked me how much would I had cut. Told him 15 cords stacked. Didn’t believe me and stopped by one day to see. He asked what I cut with, told him Makita and Echo. Proceeds to tell me Makita didn’t make chainsaws. Oh yeah, he cuts with a Huskavarna with an 18” blade.

Yup, one in every garage around here and Husqvarna sells more 455 Ranchers than any other saw. Also North America is 80% of their saw market, the rest of the world 20%. American home owners are by far the biggest consumer of chainsaws in the world. They don't need a 90cc anything by anyone.

Yeah I had a guy that does tree work tell me a few years back how his stock 660 was way faster than my 395. The only way to *s-word those guys up is smoke their ass in some wood lol
