We had a crew from Honduras for some reason price most likely
changing
Hid lamp fixtures out at our old warehouse parking lot.
They were 30ft or so tall
The scissor lift they had was 6ft too short
So they set a 8ft fiberglass ladder on it
Not tied off or anything.
I talked to their supervisor
He said they're good don't worry about it.
They did 20 some lights
And I just couldn't watch I was certain he was going to fall.
Over 30ft in the air looking up
Straddling a ladder
Wind moving the lift back and forth
That was a brave sob
Probably getting minimum wage.

Was at a Menards a few months ago to re-wire and move a couple cameras with one in a spot that the lift could not quite make it to. The lift they rented was too short so had to use a ladder on it, did I say that I don't like heights? The one outside camera I had to set the Little Giant ladder up like an extension ladder on the lift. Not fun times, but the job did get done.

This was my bosses bright idea last year, floating a 2000 pound anchor 5 miles on a piece of *s-word barge. My idea was to reuse the perfectly good anchor holding the floating restroom that we were replacing but it wasn't his idea so it was a bad idea even though I've doing this stuff for nearly 20 years. The new restroom would have been 50 yards further away from shore and it would have taken only half a day. Instead it took 2 days and the restroom sets about 10 yards from shore and sometimes 10 feet because the anchor said it was leaving.

The Former Maintenance Manager at the mill I’ve been at for the last 4 weeks kicked the copier in a mad fit of Rage one day.

I really like that mill & most of the people there are a little bit off like me.

There were also some amazon packages that were found about 20 miles south of here last week where someone had dumped them or they fell out of a car.

Newer preloader kept showing up to work late and always reeked of skunk. Surprised the drivers weren't getting contact highs from the packages. One of the sups jumped him about always being late and he denied it and couldn't understand why they would accuse him of that. Yesterday morning on break he fired up a fatty and told them he could do it anywhere he wanted to because he had a medical card. Needless to say he is now seeking other employment opportunities. Bye, Bye Felicia.

Getting so tired of dumb people round where I live. Can't even get a chain made up at the local dealer without either having the wrong preset installed, or having a cutter put on facing the wrong way. Then I ask about new pro saws, I'm told that no brands are shipping saws right now. I call BS.
Then the company that does my payroll forgot my last check, so I called about that. I received a check in the mail 2 days later, but I was shorted by over 200 dollars which is alot when my weekly check is only about 600 bucks. Now I gotta waste time with that dispute.
Ohh and none of the local saw shops want to stock common saw parts due to overhead, I asked the counter guy what a guy like me to do when I need a part? He shrugged his shoulders, I'm in disbelief.
If I owned a saw shop, I would make sure to have common parts for pro saws so guys can keep on keeping on. Fed Ex is a waste of time trying to find out what happened to packages. Trying to order stuff is a nightmare now. Rant over lol

I felt like kicking the window out of the saw shops door today after being lied to over and over again. Now I have to go back tommorow to have them fix their chain F-Up

I get all my chains from Frawley's on the net. Around here, the only shop that ever has any chains I actually want is never open when I'm not at work.
