He just doesn't want to know better as he noticed that being a button pusher yields the same paycheck as showing knowledge and caring.

The job I had before this one was like that. A very simple computer program could have replaced me and I about lost my mind. I mean, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but I can only handle being dumbed down to a certain point.

I know that my workplaces surrounding is dumbing me down and making me careless - and I hate it!

my workplace surrounding are making me negative all the time and even more criticle.....i hate it too. im a pretty happy go lucky type normally. i have worked for this place for twenty years in one way or another and i am 100% sure i have suffered mentally as the result

Sure enough, the valve has been turned the wrong way again.
I straightened the handle yesterday, it is bent again.

I think it's not a case of turning it the wrong way but a case of slamming it to the closed position with excessive force.

One of the car wash peoples just spent 15 minutes going to town on a box fan with the pressure washer.


I'm wondering how all that water will like that electric motor..

I think it's not a case of turning it the wrong way but a case of slamming it to the closed position with excessive force.
At least based off how my coworkers operate, that would be the case.

He is working the morning shift, he is only opening the valve.
I am shutting it every night 10pm, and I guarantee You I am not forcing nor slamming anything.
Those valves are brand new (5 weeks), they open & close super smooth with next to no force.

This is a clear case of "dumb/idiot coworker"!

I left my air compressor out in the rain once, fortunately not plugged in. After letting it dry inside a couple of days it seemed to work just fine.

Yet he is running a 500k € CNC mill!

Luckily I have been reassigned to another mill for next week so I won't have to deal with this bulls#it.
But I fear what atrocities will be done to the machine by the time I get reassigned to that machine!

It looks like hemp was used on the threads of the piping
I was taught how to use it for leak free plumbing

The story goes something like "I am too important to clean up the mess I made, so I'm going to blow this up and walk away"

Most of the guys at the shop can't be troubled to put their own tools away, much less clean up after themselves. It scares me to think what their homes look like and what their wives put up with.

We have truck drivers from not here,,, its their way ,,they can shoot 1/2 way up the wall. @ our trucks stop chitters its obscene,,, beyond discusting.. I wont use them.

I really don't know what's going on
Most all the big gun companies are heavily discounting firearms
Maybe it's just the overall glut of similar guns in the market and sales have stalled.
I lost count of manufacturer's at my local gun store just piles and piles of AR style rifles and polymer frame pistols.

The worst examples are when they appear to have made a genuine effort to hit the target but still get it everywhere. Either because they are so large they need a backup camera, or the volume is so much the bowl can't contain it. My boss says he is going to start sending cleaning bills to golden corral.
