AM HD Mike. What filter are you running? I like dp covers, but the HD-2 filter made a bigger difference on my saw than the muffler.
I bet it made the most difference because you were replacing a used filter plugged up with fuel spitback over the new one ?What filter are you running? I like dp covers, but the HD-2 filter made a bigger difference on my saw than the muffler.
Here ya go guys.
Saw went from 14,800 to 15,100 at the same carb settting.
First Vid is closed front cover and no air filter.
Second, added airfilter and rpm jumped to 15,300.
Third, added DP muffler cover to saw with 3 piece air filter. Was turning 15,600.
I believe it was 4 stroking all along, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
I think 14,800 would be a safe wood cutting tune.

Adding an air filter made it run faster, holy crap my brain is battered.
That saw is running the Preakness for sure.
Did you run the filter with all three pieces or some other combo?
Faster with a filter....the sky may be falling
I just finished a 440 for my brutha form another mutha Angelo. I really couldn't listen to him anymore. Kept saying he just liked cutting with a Husky 372 because this saw just wasn't fun.
This saw should be fun @angelo c
I'll try to run it today, after work and if the rain ever stops.
