A guy can invest a lot of time in testing. I'm guilty of not doing enough of it.

When it comes to in-depth testing, I take my hat off to Redbull. The man is a testing machine.

If I can ever finish my house...[emoji33] and build my dyno, I'm planning to enjoy my hobby learning what works on these machines. As long as I can keep it a hobby...[emoji849]

Interesting Mike. Is that a fact? I was thinking of getting a 32" bar just for when the occasion calls for it. But if 28" is the limit, then I will scale back.

You can mod the oiler and run full skip, it will work fine for occasional use. My oiler is stock and seems to keep up

Ported 460s are pretty good at that. Aren't 044/440s only designed to oil a 28" bar?

I think if you fill a 28" bar in hardwood, you will know what it can do.
With a .050 gauge chain 28 is about max ,.063 gauge a 440 oils a 32 inch bar fine from my experience with stock oiler .
