I'm frustrated with the saw, but can't help but think about the number of units produced vs the number of failures/poor machines. The masses for most makes and models seem to be pleased. I'm just gonna chalk it up to ole Dom being unlucky as usual.

Well ive had my 572 for 3 months now, really love this thing, very impressed, have put about 15+ tanks through it cutting Australian yellow box timber.
It hasn't missed a beat, not a single issue or fault.
Im running a 20" bar with C85, just today ive changed the 7 tooth sprocket to an 8, lets see what a difference that makes.

Same here, I’m no logger by any means but I’ve got 10 gallons of fuel through mine and haven’t had 1 single issue with mine. I have way too many saws but it’s the only one I’ve ran since I got it. It’s had a 28” and 8 tooth the whole time cutting and noodling ash

I bought my 572xp in March of 2019 . I got it ported in fall of 2019 . It has been the best saw I've ever owned !

my 3 year old 572 hasnt skipped a beat, ive probably cut 40-50 cords with it so far, im far from being a pro, but pretty much every week Im cutting a truckload of firewood.

I picked up one that @huskihl tinkered with and it rips, it came from a logger that has used it for years since it was brand new and ported. I think all models have their lemons just like cars and trucks so we are all going to have our own experiences with these saws. Just keep buying saws you like and sell me the ones you don’t haha.
