Good points on the developmental aspects. And they do scream. Just can't see buying one instead of a 461 given the negligible price difference for a more powerful saw at nearly the same weight. One of the oldest dealers in my area never stocked em and still doesn't in favor of the 461. He's sold exactly one 441 M-tronic that he ordered for a guy. Sold a boatload of 362's though.

I bought a 441rcm over the 461r and after mastermind got done with it I bet it will run right with a ported 461. Smoother and I didn’t have to buy a maxflo.

Nothing wrong with Maxflo filters. They filter better, will outlast OEM, and saw runs better while using it.
I consider it money well spent.

Yes. I got a couple. They are OK. I just like the better filtration. I am not a big fan of how they look, but I am a fan of how the saw functions when in use.

Lol. I use extra, extra strength Dawn and let them soak.
I heard from a guy who races that NOTOIL is better.

I think they will likely run the 461 concurrent for a year and then drop it, new EPA standards go into effect here in the US in 2021
You can always stock up on the older versions, that's what I did with 2171/372s.
I just bought a new 461 last week, 1 tank of gas and it's already in pieces.

I will try the gas first next time.
Motor cycle racer says with NoToil, he cleans his foam filters in his sink. NoToil is biodegradable.

More evidence why I went with 2171/372s, plus they come from the factory with a good filtrstion system, there's a reason maxflo don't make filters for husky saws.
No it's in pieces so I can port it when my foredom parts show up. I don't think theres a filter you can run longer on a saw without cleaning other than a green weenie.

P.S. I have a 2171 parts saw that will be a hell of a sleeper ;)
