stihl 026 ideas?

I'm pretty sure only the pros had 44.7 mm.

That's not true, I've rebuilt several 026 pros with 44mm topends.

All 026 are 44mm. Pro or non-pro. The handle sticker will say 49cc displacement.

MS260 are 44mm or 44.7. The later ones are 44.7 and the handle says 50cc. Both pro and non-pro

Which one runs best Al?

Never did a head to head Keith. The hotrodder in me always wants the biggest displacement though.

What's often overlooked is that the 44.7 size allows a wider exhaust port than the 44. That may add power more than the displacement.

I haven't done one yet. The 346 should beat an 026. Bigger everything based on displacement.

I think an 026 will last longer and is more reliable though.

Im not a huge oh26 guy, but after running spencerspavings ported saw, I almost bought one. Lol.

I got 3 that randy did the last one is at 15500 and had to get 194 and mesh filter to get there comp well over 240

Thats just because stihl guys are too limp wristed to work on a real saw.

My huskys don't have any issues with that.

I have one, but you'd need to swap your intelli cover onto it. Came off my running 260.
