So what did you do today?

Went to church this morning, watched the NASCAR race this afternoon and planted more of the garden this evening. Still more planting to do but we got tired.
At church I talked to a friend that is giving one of my refurbed Stihl 039's a try. He was really pleased with it and said he couldn't get over how well it cut. Sounds like an impending sale... I finished up a different one yesterday but haven't tested it yet. (the one that fell apart on me)

Finished my zombie-359 today!

The only mod I did to it is a base gasket delete and a little beveling of those horrendous lower transfers.

Very happy with how this came out.

Remodeled the wife's bathroom all weekend. Picked up piglets for the kids 4H project and nailed some fascia back on the house that blew off last week.

Finally getting some real nice weather here in southern Ontario.
Today I,
-changed the oil, services the transmission and greased my truck
- washed my truck
-put the summer wheels back on the wife's Kia
- changed the oil in my shop air compressor
-took the snow blower off my lawn tractor
- changed the oil and filter on my lawn tractor
- sharpened the blades and reinstalled the mowing deck on my lawn tractor
-swept and had a quick tidy up of my shop
All in all its been a really good and productive day.

I know right? I have seen pics of his place and looks like a kids dream to grow up on a farm like that! Only an hour from me and I'll meet up one day and run some saws together!

Yesterday was almost as productive. I'm trying to get all caught up on my "chores" before next weekend.
All this week after work I'll be in the shop getting stuff ready for the NY gtg. I've got a bunch of chains to prepare, saws to check over etc.

Daughters been sick all weekend. Now my little fella seems to be getting sick. Wife's been working all weekend so I'm mr. Mom :/

Somehow managed to start my 034S (to check the clutch springs I replaced). Ran mint. Dumped the gas and oil out. Took b and c off and gave a wipe down of the saw. Should have it boxed up and ready to ship too a fellow member and friend sometime this week.

Put the 20" b and c on my 056S to give it a run after a complete tear down. Haven't started it yet and Hoping for the best.

I'm blessed to be able to raise my kids exactly the way I was raised! Even in the very house! Of course I spoil them big time..... There dirt bikes have everything on them in working in order and there guns are semi auto plus we had porterhouse steaks to night!

For me it was file the points on my Hodaka ace100 to get it going, single shoot rifle and hotdogs! Lol

Went to my umcles place where i cut most my firewood to see how wet it is. Feild is drying up but bush is way too muddy. May tward end of week i can get some wood out.
Lost my dam pocket knife too i think when i was draging a few branches off the feild. Gonna have to go back and look for it sometime.
