Was in town, got some goods, moved my car a bit after it sat for almost a week.

Wanted to make some cookie cutting videos but my plans got undermined.
Now I'm in the kitchen making lunch, blood sausage with sour kraut and mashed potatoes.

Shame actually, I managed to partially debark two logs yesterday evening and the weather today is nice too.
No point in trying to go outside after lunch, it get's dark too quickly in the afternoon.
... and I ended up eating alone! o_O

Saying "You cook today!" and then not having the decency to know when to come for lunch - gota love/hate something like that!
Called for lunch twice, no one close to the house to reply.
After 45 minutes of waiting I enjoyed my meal and vacated the kitchen not caring when the others will show up and eat.

Could have been playing with my saws, but no, somebody had other plans for me.
It aggravates me when I'm being told what someone else thinks I have to do.

One more hour of daylight the most, I'll just call it a day and relax, watch TV!

At least I got a fine meal out of today! :)
Now, where's that vine at...

So far sent a payment off to the IRS who insisted I estimate my taxes or some reason .Visited my local vampire to get my blood tests done .Now ,if,maybe, perhaps I'll tackle that mess I call a garage with all it's long forgotten treasures hiding under tool boxes, cardboard boxes, rags and other assorted pieces of junk . The life of a junk yard dawg is not all that easy .

Took factory-out-of-the-box chain performance video's.
They're still on the camera which is charging.
Will up the videos as time allows.

The day went quite well untill I accidentally poured boiling water over my left foot.
I boiled off a big area of skin at the ankle area, that'll be fun to live with till it heels.

Fired up my 261 C-M, MS291 (poor saw ain't seen hardly no wood), need to sell it w/new bar and RS chain), and a couple of Huskies. Just pissing around, been raining since sunup and it ain't let up yet...same deal weather-wise tomorrow. Getting some bacon wrapped, boneless skinless bresseses on the grill just inside the shop door...pot of black-eyed peas and rice waiting inside.

Got some more wood. Load #3 in the last 4 weekends.

Photo didn't come out too clear...raining/hailing most of the day. Cut/semi split/loaded in just a little over 3 hours. Trailer is 16x8 got to try out the 044 I purchased from @psuiewalsh a few months ago. Brought the 372xpw as well...took it out, and recoil spring cut loose on second pull. Lol.

Dropped this Red Oak today, I'm on my deck in the pic. This one was still alive, but has been dropping dead limbs on the house all season. The log is 26" and 31' long.
Used my 1050 and SXL.View attachment 47498

Nice work!! Be nice to not have that mess by the house any more.

I'm guessing from the pictures the 044 did the work and the 372 spit the spring?
Yessir....lol. 044 did all the work. 372 never got started. Need a new clutch for the 372 anyway...thought I bought one...but be damned if I can find it.
