I have three of those BVX125 blower/vacuums, I really like them except that when using as a vacuum the material blowing from the discharge wears a hole in the bag within a few minutes of operation. I added a deflector made from a plastic container (cottage cheese...) and the bags will now last through several seasons of my use.

Buried some tanks at the ghetto mart and kept adding to the bottle finds. I probably pulled 150 out and the excavator said he got at least 500. The bottom three feet of this hole is clay and the rest of the site is an ash dump.

Last night I made a surround that I can use around my chain sharpener and vise. Made out of a sheet of hvac duct. This will hopefully keep my bench cleaner when sharpening and act as a heat shield when torching mufflers for brazing.

Just built some fences for the truck bed, along with a saw holder “bracket.” All with old junk slab wood.

Winding down the garden for the season. Picked last string beans and pulled the plants, same with cucumbers and finished trimming foliage off the tomatoes to make it easier to get to the last of them. Planting garlic tomorrow.

Indian gas station by the projects. Black women screaming at their kids all day, people begging for money that they spend on the gambling machines, all kinds of stuff to smoke stuff out of etc

Spent six hours with a skid loader burning trash and filling a scrap roll off at the dead neighbors. Good stuff is going to auction. These cans were deemed scrap. I pulled the 025 out of a pile. It took an echo tank vent and the chain brake guts but it runs and oils. It’ll get used for the clean up them probably live in my truck bed. Hauled some aluminum wheels with tires on them to the tire shop and replaced the wiper motor and transmission in the element.

Those stations here have a tendency to fail to pay for fuel.. hence they end up as gambling joints selling smokes, alcohol, and lottery tickets

We put the old tanks out of service three years ago. There was no rush. They said the money is in the gambling machines. They unplug them throughout the day. They say less winners that way

Hmm...I witness that on a continuum unfortunately. The places, faces and races vary by region...yet the same dilemma...broken humanity.
Majority of them have some interesting and tragic backstories, makes me mighty grateful for what I have.
