Nice old machine for that job. Love to pick one up that's not ragged out. True Dresser or paint job?
I'm not sure. It's a 175c. Father in law also has a 250, td-15b, and a 955. My favorite is the td-15. Very simple good running machine.

Old school. My neighbor had a 250 with Drott. Awesome, just plucked out stumps like pulling onions. TD-15,be still my IH red pumping heart, perfect farm dozer.

The 250 has a drott clan bucket, it is perfect for stumps. Would of been nice to have it here but it also has a bad rod bearing. Not sure if she will ever run again.

There's 817 stuff out there but it's getting hard. I'll ask.

817 in the 25 for sure. I'm thinking V800 in the 40 but I'm not sure haven't been around any like 25's and 250's.

25 could of had a V800 also, neighbors has 2 of them with 800's and really likes them

Well then you're on your own. The possible parts pile I knew of was 817.

What vintage of 817's are they, are they late enough to be direct injected with P-pumps on them? Those were/are dam good engines!

Really don't know. The 250 is long gone and any parts would be dusty on the back of the shelf. I try to stay away from wrenching on dozers. Especially the big ones. Everything is real heavy. And expensive. And rare.

Not doing much of anything as I'm on vacation enjoying vineyard hills in Switzerland for a few more days. :)

Very nice forests here too, mostly needle wood with some beech. Great hiking area!

Gotta stockpile some Swiss chocolate to take back home. ;)

I'm in southern Bavaria at the moment. Was in Austria earlier today. I will also be stocking up on chocolate before I head back to the USA...
