Bought a couple of parts saws at the flea market Saturday, a Stihl 034AV and an Echo 351VL, now I'm gonna try to get them both running. I put a little fuel in the carb of the Echo and got it to start but the Stihl is gonna need a new P/C and a new muffler. Why is it that when people check the piston through the exhaust and find it bad that they leave the muffler and bolts off and eventually lose them?

Today I transferred a bunch of scrap metal from a landscape trailer to my dump trailer, loaded up some other scrap and then towed my cargo trailer (tool trailer) home from a jobsite. Took a break, shower, ate lunch and did some reading then went out to the shop and started sorting through chainsaws. I repaired my 028 Super which had a fuel starvation problem. That turned out to be fuzz on the carb screen. I then continued to work through my line up taking out old fuel, putting in new, running the saws, dumping out the new fuel and running them out of gas. I then sharpened the chains and tensioned them, cleaned them up a bit and put them back on the shelf. Most of my saws I haven't run in several months so it was good to go through them and make sure they're ready. I now have about a dozen saws ready to cut wood. (some are my "for sale" saws)
I have a large number of saws that are needing repairs or rebuilding but rarely do that this time of year. It's been dry here the last couple months so I haven't had as much grass to mow so that helps.

Put away some tools at the hangar, loaded scrap metal, started cleaning out a storage building, cut up a couple of old bedsprings, moved a trailer from a jobsite to the house. (second one, one still to go), met w/ a neighbor regarding some future plans, worked on the computer for a while, did some office work, and so forth.

Cut a couple loads of wood this morning. Hauled one home and stacked it in the barn. Mowed the lawn and went swimming with my boys. Now I'm chillin' on the deck with a Ice cream sammich.
