I finally finished the project Husky 55 I bought from @brushwacker . It was a fun saw to work on!
Here is what it started out looking like (roasted piston from a bad rim sprocket):

I ended up installing a Hyway piston, new bearings, oil seals, carb kit, and fuel line. I happened to have a new 3/8 20" bar to go with it. With the choke on, the 5th pull it burped, took the choke off and two pulls and it was running. Only needed minor carb adjustments to get it where I wanted it! Still needs a new air filter...but I didn't want to wait to test it out!

Next up will be a Jonsered 670 that I am working on filling in mag rot with JB weld and will put it back together with a Husky 272 piston and cylinder. After that will be another 55 Husky I got from a neighbor that will get a 272 carb, Uni air filter, muffler mod and pop-up piston with maybe a gasket delete, will have to see what clearances I end up with between the top of the piston and the spark plug!
