I just put a Athena big bore kit and hot cams on a 2016 KX450F for a snowbike. Hopefully it will be able to do some decent hill climbing now.

The guy in the lower pic wants to make it a snow bike too, I have never ridden a snow bike, do you like it?
The big bore and cam will make a nice bump in power. I have built a few 14-1 with stage 3 hot cams and several 13.5-1 stage two hot cam motors, both with and without head porting, all are good runners, you will be happy! High compression pistons really wake them up!

There is no high compression option for the big bore, plus I'd like to not have to run it on race fuel. The big bore and Akrapovic exhaust was a big improvement, hot cams just came out with the exhaust cam this month or it would have had them a while ago. They say +7hp on a stock bore. I was going to tickle the head a little while I had it off, but honestly there was nothing I'd change in those ports.

It's my friends snowbike, I like riding it as it goes through tight spaces and sidehills even crusty snow with ease. But I'm not quiet ready to give up the power of my turbo sled, I can go almost everywhere my friend does with the snowbike and our other 2 friends are still on sleds. The turbo sled is nice, if we get into trouble I can at least shoot up the steep and deep to find a way out for them. I'll also ride last in the group because I'm most equipt to deal with the ruts and holes they leave when we run out of lines in tight trees.

Once I get this bike done and tuned in he has a left over 2015 KX450F he bought that will get a turbo, supposed to be a little over 100hp. If that works out, that would be something I'd be interested in switching too.

The turbo bike sounds fun! I have seen a few quad turbo kits, there only problem was lag, they didn’t spool super fast..once spooled they were fast and powerful! The sled clutch probably lets that turbo rock!!

To be honest I was in shock and little too scared to video record it. For all I know she could have got pissed off and leapt across the hood of my truck before I could get it started and moving. A horror show in its entirety flashed across my mind while I sat there staring with my jaw hanging.

They have a life size mannequin player wearing a complete oregon ducks football uniform, including pads and helmet, on display in the bar. I was sitting three feet away so there was no avoiding witnessing folks as they would have a look on their way by.
