I went thru a couple of coils trying to fix one of those engines, pretty common bad coil, last one I had it would start cold,, then as it warmed *s-word would start happening,, new used coil was the answer,, it had me stumped for a bit, though it was the carby as it sat for a long while outside.
Keep us posted.

Went to thrift shops and pawn shops today looking for some cross country ski gear for my son. Don't understand why there wasn't more of it in stock here in Georgia...
Chainsaw wise, I saw mostly the typical junk Homelites, cheapo Poulans and a few of the low end Husqvarna. Only serious saw spotted was a Husky 357 but they had that marked at $189 and "needs work" so I didn't even pick it up.

Couldnt wait. I went out and tinkered for a bit. Its got spark now. The guy a got it feom must have replaced the wire that grounds it out for rurning it off and when he fixed that he must have had the points off and never put it back on proper. Thers a little nipple that had to go into a hole as a guide and was not in, so that stiff was not lined up proper.
I love theae easy fixes.

I ran out of light but will hopfully get the new fuel line on tomorrow and ger er running.

Also not to ask a dumb question but i dont see an air filter. Should ther be one on it,? I think ther should be?

I replaced the old leaking flatback carb on my super 250 with a HL. Much better! After that I've been sorting thru chains to sharpen for the gtg

But I must tell,, I had a big craftsman blower 13hp and used to do a few neighbors places just for being a good neighbor.
Well one day I am out doing the side walk and got the chute is pointed to one neighbors home,,I keep hearing what I think is rocks in the blower,, WTF no rocks here,,, so after a bit of thumping and bumping I realize its frozen dog turds being launched,,,

Got to meet an OPE member who was in the area, had a nice time shooting the breeze with Keith aka psuiewalsh. Finished cleaning the bench off and went out hunting for a couple of hours.

Today I finished off fixing up an 034. New air filter, carb kit, fuel line and filter, sharpened up the chain and dressed the bar up real nice.
Sharpened 4 chains for another guy
Changed a couple light bulbs
Swept up the front porch and picked up after my kids.
All in all a pretty decent day:)

I'd like to get a ceiling done in the shop and the stove hooked up and going but my azz is to broke right now.
Tomorrow I wanna try and get some of my crap out of the shop and put it in my shed. Might even get my furnace cleaned out and start burning wood for heat instead of oil
