that cutter looks good it will cut. if you square up the top plate a little more it will stay sharp longer and still cut really nice and smooth

It depends on the ground and if I’m just falling it would for sure,add bucking into the situation you might get a full 6 hour day if you’re lucky.

if the chains are only wood dull yes a full day and part of another. also if only wood dull the grinding time is way faster too just a light touch up. if you dont hit the ground at all and there isnt anything inside the tree to damage your chain.

Nice, I think I have an adjustable one on the other grinder, guess I could look.
In the process of organizing the basement since the barn build doesn't appear to be happening anytime soon, I'll probably check it out then.
