I'm not sure what I like more, the grinder or the solo twin.
The guy I picked this up from had a ziggy raker grinder, as well as the hdg-6 raker grinder.SDM-4 and Pro-Sharp are badass, but nothing beats a Ziegelmeyer
It was at Madsens not long along. Got all new wear parts -$900 worth with labor. I will still check!
Appreciate the advice! Might have a few questions setting it up

i have only had one chain break before and it broke where it was joined i thing that the rivets were spun too much when it was put together. i have however had all of the cutters stripped off of a chain before they were on their last grind and only lasted about 15 minutes.
I’ve had a few fail in a few places. Watch some of the results of our chain races when we have them .......
You can even go back into some old threads and you’ll find all sorts of failures from files hitting the chassis at the rivets.View attachment 260123
This one had the driver open up at the front and whipped the operators leg pretty good. Chaps let him take only a bruise away.
As far as running your ported 390, gear it up a bit and start cutting some square wood ....... you’ll see quickly what you can get away with and what you can’t
Hopefully that'll be alright lol.so after replacing the arbor on my grinder and it still having a slight wobble i actually measured it with a dial indicator and its only off by .001 I guess im just picky
hey chipper im Bret too
Is your name chipper too .Hey Bret, I’m chipper....
