Ya I noticed that. Practice practice practice. Lol. Shallower? Do you mean more flatter like the first stone that was on it or dress it even less of an angle than I have now? :)

More like the first stone is what I was thinking. I know you're trying to attain an angle that keeps the stone out of the tie strap but that first stone had a good working edge when I ground those three chains with it. The top plate angle was a little shallow for me but the backslope and side plate angles were good and I didn't get any beaks.

Has anyone ever had a cbd wheel made for a silvey?

For a pro sharp yes, I know of someone that has. Would not work well for rs2. tho I've never operated rs2 the side plate angle changes drastic with different cutter lengths and brands.

Can you explain this Shawn? The side plate angle changes from a new to a worn chain with the same angles on the grinder? I haven't noticed this. I'll have to pay more attention...

You should have noticed it. The chain is riding on a arc. Angles will constantly change as cutter shortens.

Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen anyone discuss having to change dresser angles between chains. I've sharpened about 39 chains now with the same dresser angles. I'll take a look later and see what kind of differences there are.

I don't change my dresser angles, but angles do vary with cutter length as Shawn said
I never changed them as I ground chains down on the swing arm or RS 2. It's not enough to worry about for work chain unless it stops self feeding.

So would you guys consider a cbd disc on the rs2?

I just looked at a bunch of the chains I converted. You are right Shawn, the angles vary a bit. But not enough to matter for work chains IMHO. So if the disk could maintain the corner I think it would be worth it.
