Same. It seems to work well. As for holding up, we shall see. @Loony661 how's the muffler paint holding up on the Dolmar 111?

Absolutely not. OEM with intestines butchered mildly by previous owner. He also had another small tube welded below the original pipe. I took them away and put my creation in place.

Sporty 395. More for play than work. Didn’t have any 1.25” tubing so I improvised. Rear pegs from my kid’s Mongoose bike circa 1998 lol. Removed the chrome and thinned the walls a little from the inside and outside with the lathe. No problem hearing it now

The bracket turned out to be unnecessary for someone the exhaust gas inlet has also been tuned

First try with silver soldering. My torch was just about hot enough.
Some excess solder but not too bad for a first try I think.

I think so....I don't like junk inside the muffler can taking up expansion space.

My attempt st Farmin's 395 mod...
Turns out this Brazilian model isn't just spot welded...all braised inside so had to improvise to get the pipe out.
Fugly, but functional.
