It elevates the saw off my bench to make room for my degree wheel and it helps to keep the huskies from falling over. Plus I’m to cheap to buy a chainsaw vise. LolWhy do u fix the saw to the wood?
I'm going to try this next time. Had a few try and kamikaze off the end of the bench. Nice job just brazed the whole bottom over.My first attempt at brazing on an old rusty "core". 100 pin holes in bottom of

I cut the bottom open like a banana. Cut out all the junk inside and welded it closed. Cut the stock deflector off and opened the outlet up to approx 7/8” hole. Welded on a medium sized Red97 deflector.
