Yup, this is a 350, with 346 top end, 357/9 carb/int etc...
I'm not a welder or equipped....
So that always takes wag too long...

2159/359 Muffler... Split it, gut it and started to weld it back together. Couldn’t finish it tonight because Ma was done with spaghetti and the warm house was calling my name lol. Fugly aint she? There are some pretty significant gaps because as I was peeling up the cat it was also peeling off part of the muffler‍.

Aftermarket 1122 muffler was starting to fall apart. Really poor build quality. I brazed it back together and repaired it.

Not sure to be honest. It came with the saw as is. It’s weird though the husky aftermarket mufflers are usually thicker than oem.... but it seems to be the other way around with the stihl aftermarket mufflers. Not to mention the aftermarket brazing/welds are rather poor too. It’s still hit or miss with this aftermarket stuff in general though.

Did the muffler on my new 271. I think it will really wake up. Was surprised the muffler was empty inside. The exit hole was quite small.

The only thing that I’ve been collecting lately is bills from Christmas shopping for the kids............ and a few sideways comments about how much $$ it “musta costed” to collect 50+ saws
